I just read in our newspapers in Sweden that the door for Turkey will be closed for EU-membership if they introduce death penalty again.
Who closes doors for USA, a country that still allows death penalty in 35 states? Just wondering how come?

Last I heard, the United States was not being considered for EU membership.

I mean you really want Turkey to be in the EU anw ? I promise you if the ones in Germany were hardworking smart people and Turkey a Big Power, we would be begging them to be in the EU even if they killed 50 000 people a year.
Just thank the stars there's only 18 million dutch on this planet. Were it as many as there are turks, this planet would have died in 1942.

Sud Sudan want to be indipendent? sure.
Catalunya want to be indipendent? nope.
American fighting the British to gain indipendence? HEROES!!!!
Afghan people fighting the yanks to gain indipendence? terrorist.
Venezuelan police beating the protesters? Nazis.
Western Country police beating the protester? Angels that save our society from dangerous subversive.

The question is not about EU-membership but about deathpenalty which is not acceptable for the EU (part of the western world) But EU is never complaining about that penalty in the US
