Remove "X competes in Y" from time line

I think they are annoying but they also sometimes help tournaments grow. I'll sometimes see a notification and maybe join a tournament myself that I might not have known about. Maybe you could limit it to only important tournaments like the marathons, shields etc and make them removable with an "x"

or maybe make them only there while the tournament is ongoing and disappear when it ends. something like that would be really cool.

I'd rather turn it off completely. That's easier to implement, and the currently running tournaments are listed on the home page anyway.

Agree. Showing that someone participates in X, Y or Z (tournament) is absolutely pointless. (Name any condition where this is helpful or useful and doesn't entail trolling or hounding and I'll eat my pointless words.)
