it would be nice to add this kind of feature for posts that people write in the forum. To see if it was helpful/funny/etc for others
I personally don't see much point in that. I've seen other forums implement a "Like" feature to posts, while keeping the same message board format, and it's only resulted in people whoring for "likes" which really serve no purpose at all.
I would like it. Saves us writing a whole spiel to say +1
