Allow private games

Currently everyone can see every game. But what if someone doesn't want to share their games publically with everyone? Maybe they have special opening or trick that they practice with computer and they certainly don't want others to just be able to browse it. Or maybe they just don't feel comfortable with the idea of being ashamed if others see how they lost.

A chess game played by a human being is not just a series of moves; there are emotions involved and sometimes it is personal. Do you want facebook to allow everyone to see every picture you've ever uploaded? Probably not. So why isn't there a setting for marking a game private, where only that user and perhaps the moderators could view it?
If you simply play as anonymous, the games aren't linked to your account, so you have to bookmark them manually which is annoying.
And that defeats the purpose of having an account to begin with if everytime you want to play a private game you have to create a new account and somehow keep track of all these accounts. Thats even more annoying than making bookmarks.
Besides not being seen, what do you want ? Most of us don't know who you are, so really, to observers who don't know you, your games really are just series of moves.

If people know you under your account name, then create *one* anonymous account. It'll hold all of your anonymous games, and no one else will know that the games of "anon7963" are yours.
Hi lecw. I thought my original post made clear what I asked. But I guess I have to repeat: I would like for a user the be able make any of their games private for whatever reason.

This is not about not being seen. It is a general feature request that would make possible for a user to not share their games with you or anyone else, even if you really don't care.
As an example, the chess insights feature has this capability. A user can choose to not share their insights analytics where it can be used by opponents to prepare against them. This is a good idea, and I believe studying a player's key games can also expose their weaknesses in way they would like to avoid. This is just one scenario where it would be useful to have this privacy option.
That said there are some drawbacks to this idea. For example, a cheater or sandbagger might choose to make all their games private so they are harder to catch. So I can understand if developers decide against this idea.
