RULES AND REGULATIONS

School Students of Paschim Medinipur District are only eligible to participate in this tournament.
School identity card & birth proof has to be produced by the student.
The Tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System of 7 rounds of “30 Minutes with 30 seconds increment each from move no.1”.
In case of tie break lichess tie breaks will be applicable. Tie Breaks for schools Tie Break 1 Highest Number of Individual 1st Prizes, Tie Break 2 Highest Number of Individual 2nd Prizes, Tie Break 3 Highest Number of Individual 3rd Prizes.
Alteration in age groups is not allowed.
The tournament will be online on www.lichess.org . If a player don’t has an account on lichess, he/she can follow this video for information https://youtu.be/sk1oPy20Phc .r
Computer assistance and 3rd party help are strictly prohibited. If found guilty, officially action will be taken. No one is allowed to close his/her lichess account before Prize Distribution.
If one lichess account is found ban owing to cheating after a game we cannot award the point to the victim player.
