Why Chess Players Have No Humor?

It's ironic how people who point fingers at others for not having a sense of humor are usually the ones devoid of humor.

Perhaps some chess players lack humor because some chess players lack social skills and may have ego issues.

But then again no one is innocent, and no one has no problems, so maybe compassion and empathy is in place instead of criticizing others very often.
There's plenty of room for humor in chess, but, for the most part it revolves around casual play: utilizing the oddest of A00 openings, contradicting some of the basic principles of game's theory, purposely proceeding with unequally-rated exchanges. And of course, offering draws when you see mate in 1, as in this kind of banter, half of the time they're not going to be accepted. =)
Chess is a very logical game.
maybe that influences your personality.
Some of us do but the very easily offended at every single opportunity woke snowflake types most definitely do not and they most certainly do not understand satire. They’re experts at playing the victim card in any given situation.
...another nonsense generalisation. You mustn't be hanging around with the right crowd. A lot of the guys I play chess with have a great sense of humour, they find my chess absolutely hilarious! @TeenageDimwit being one of them! :D
I have much humor. I take horse, I call you fish. I laugh and laugh.
