Bug: "Black time out - Black is victorious" Lichess acts weird, I lose on time

"Playing White, I moved with 20 seconds left. Nothing happened. My clock didn't tick, nor did my opponent's. After a few seconds my clock was suddenly at zero, and the game was over. None of Black's pieces had moved, and my last move was still highlighted. The game result was "0-1 Black time out - Black is victorious. I had moved, so I thought Black lost on time, but it was me.

I have a screen grab of the final position.
@subalias What happened is you got disconnected from lichess and did not notice or get told by your browser. Which made your opponents clock tick down to 0 and make it seem that you won but when you exit or reload the page or click to analyse you get reconnected and see that you lost because you never got your opponents move.

I don't care about losing one bullet game. I report things like this in case they matter to the Lichess devs. Fortunately other people like you help screen false bug reports and avoid wasting their time, so thanks for your input. I just want to be sure I'm mistaken, so bear with me if you will.

Things were happening like I'd move but the piece would jump back to the square it came from. The page flickered a few times. It was my time that ran out, not my opponent's. Their clock said 44 seconds when my said 20, and 44 seconds was their time at the end of the game. I didn't reload to make my clock drop to zero, it happened on it's own. I checked the result by opening my history in another tab. I've lost on time by being disconnected before, but I made my move and my opponent's clock appeared to run, but not this time. The particular thing that makes me wonder if there is something that needs fixing is the result said "Black time out - Black is victorious". This is nonsensical and of course not normal. Also, I wonder if an intermittent connection cause flickering.
@subalias what you described is a text book example of a connection problem everything you said is a symptom of disconnection. I can link you every other post where this has happened and proven by using software that it is a connection problem.

"I wonder if an intermittent connection cause flickering."
A user found it was a websocket issue for flicker but not sure if it was fixed as finding old forums is not easy when the names are not easy to remember

Thanks.

Just out of curiosity, do know how a connection problem can cause Lichess to say Black has timed out yet won? I guess it's happened before, but it's very unintuitive.
@subalias if you look on the left it says white time out black wins this seems to be a connection problem refreshing or revisiting the page normally works
@for_cryingout_loud It still seems peculiar that it said Black timed out, but anyway over 10,000 games and 129 hours playing and I've never registered that Lichess also gives the result on the top left. Thanks again for your help.
