Old "Lobby" version suits my needs better

Yes, it's great!
I only don't see the need for splitting the Lobby and the quick game area. Combining them in one single page would be much cleaner. A setting for the auto parring range... and voila!
....I can't believe we're going to start allowing this place to be run by StarWars nerds who don't even understand how an auto pairing system works. This would truly be hysterical if it wasn't so tragic.
@WarOverABoard im sure if you used your brain more than you like to insult others, you would realize the lobby still exists and you can still seek your games the same way you did before, nothing is removed, only addition has been made.

Just click on the lobby tab, and you will never have to see the quick game tab again if you dont want to.
@Dragon-Lord : Nope. Wrong. You don't understand how it works, either. Now go back and read the posts I and others have made about this and try to understand it properly before you throw your two pennies into the mix, ok?

@Dragon-Lord Don't you have to click the lobby tab after every game? I wish they had a option to make the lobby tab the default display/homepage like it was originally.

Also like many other people noted, we still all use the lobby tab, set a 150 point rating range, yet still get paired with someone waaay out of that range (like +400 pts).
@Rairden Precisely. That's because the system isn't working as intended or the intention was terribly misguided. The reason that's happening to you is because you're being placed in the pool instead of the lobby - regardless of where you created the game - if the time control you're setting happens to also be a time control covered by one of the pools. So, if you want to play a 2+1 against someone +100 or -100, you can't. Maybe now some of you see why I objected to this so strongly. This isn't even the worst aspect of it, either.
@WarOverABoard
I haven't experienced that particular problem. I just set a very narrow range to test it and had to spend several minutes finding a 3+0, but the opponent was within the range

The fact that I can see 3+0 games in the lobby must mean that my 3+0 game shows up there too even though I can only see it as being a pool game
No rairden, for me the lobby is permanent. I only had to click it once.

what browser are you using ?
#16 That bug was fixed.
It should be mentioned that calling the new pool system "asinine" will not actually help.

Is the new system not optimal? Quite possibly. Does that mean that it should be removed completely and thrown to the trash can? I don't think so.
>Yeah this was the worst idea ever.
The concept in itself is quite widespread among chess sites. It's not exactly controversial. It's a way to speed up the pairing system for the most popular time controls.
>Nothing was wrong. There was nothing to improve on or fix.
As it was pointed out by Clarkey, it has been added in response to very concrete problems with the seek system.

>I want to put my seek up and see it with the rest of the seeks like I always could before. How could you guys think people would like this?
Because it doesn't remotely change anything?
>As you see from the forums, the community as a whole does NOT want this.
Looks to me like it's quite the opposite. It is quite amusing that the very next post following this one was in support of the system.

Will there be bugs? Sure. Will there be problems with the implementation of it? Sure. It is however clear that this thread should be used to point out improvements and not calling for it to be removed.
